Restaurant Boulevard in Friedrichroda

It was great. The boulevard was completely full but we were lucky to find seats quickly. The waiter asked for a little patience when canceling the meal. However, our wishes were immediately satisfied. The food was delicious and the staff friendly and thoughtful. To be recommended and gladly again anytime.

Children's portions were unfortunately very small, but otherwise the food was very tasty, luckily we had reserved in advance.

Very tasty, great value for money

The service was nice and hard-working, he was alone despite the many guests. The prices were ok. Unfortunately, the ambience is rather less beautiful, it looks old and gloomy. But none of that is a problem, we were there to eat. And unfortunately that didn't work! The goulash soup was incredibly salty. We were hungry, so whatever. The main course will save that ... but unfortunately no result: both the roast roast and the fried potatoes were super salty. In addition, the meat was cut too unevenly, so that the thicker part was practically raw. The picture is similar with the fried potatoes: very unevenly cut, half burnt, the other half cooked. Everything was done super carelessly. We will not come back.

Restaurant looks nicer from the outside than inside. Service very solution-oriented (despite almost complete reservations, a table was still available at short notice). There is a good variety of dishes, but not too much. Food is freshly prepared. You can taste what's on the plate and it's very tasty - not run-of-the-mill. That's why the one point deduction just for the ambience. Highly recommended in terms of food 👍👍👍.

The Boulevard is a small but nice restaurant with nice staff and good food. The prices are normal and fair. I had the venison goulash with Thuringian dumplings, delicious. I would have liked a local beer, but unfortunately I looked in vain in all the restaurants in this area. I can recommend the Boulevard restaurant.

Delicious home-made Thuringian cuisine, no convenience and also game dishes, game from our own hunt. We were very impressed by the kitchen, delicious sauces, Thuringian dumplings, goulash, roe deer, wild boar, stag and also vegetarian options. Very good value for money, drinks cheap. We got a table on a Friday evening without a reservation, but it is better to reserve. Only the interior decor and the slightly better dimmed light do not bother you a bit. Personal and very friendly service trout full restaurant. We will be back!

Since it is the last restaurant in Friedrichroda that still serves food on Sunday evening, we ended up here rather by chance - and it was a great stroke of luck! We had the wild boar roast and the lamb chops, both very tasty and recommendable. Best ingredients fresh from the region, very nice and courteous owner, cozy atmosphere. Absolute insider tip!

The service was really OK. Had "Steak of Four", the steak and the fries were really good. Just the way the plate was arranged didn't match the price at all. Just fries and the steak, nothing more, totally loveless! (no salad)

Nice place, rustic furnishings, service very nice, some beers on tap at very good prices. Have not eaten, we will make the next visit. I particularly noticed the cleanliness, the toilets were very clean, I haven't seen anything like this for a long time! Gladly again!

Perfect regional cuisine. My absolute tip. Definitely test it. The atmosphere that has come into the time is outweighed by the great food. Always fresh game on the menu. The service with its authentic way I found very sympathetic.

This restaurant may not be the best decorated place on town but it serves a very good cousine wirh freshly made Thuringer sausages (one of the best) and game that the owner happened to hunt down...thus perfect food and a friendly staff

After we were rejected at 3 restaurants previously rude, we were warmly welcomed. We got our drinks quickly and could enjoy a delicious meal after a short wait. Kudos to the kitchen. Even my mom ate the fries with full enjoyment and was absolutely satisfied. Keep up the good work and when we are close again, we will surely come back for dinner.
